My name is Clauton Kum, and I am a proud first-generation high school and college graduate originally from Cameroon, Africa. Growing up in Montgomery County, Maryland, I developed a passion for public health, which led me to earn my Bachelor of Public Health Science from the University of Maryland, College Park. After completing my Premedical Post Baccalaureate at Elms College in Massachusetts, I embarked on my journey to become a medical professional. Currently, I am a first-year medical student at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and serve as the APMSA Delegate for the class of 2028.
In my free time, I love catching up on new shows and diving into new learning experiences. As a former professional soccer player, watching soccer remains one of my greatest joys. Whether it’s cheering for my favorite team or reminiscing about my playing days, soccer will always hold a special place in my heart.
