The Department of Podiatric Biomechanics consists of highly trained clinicians and scholars who specialize in the biomechanics of the lower extremity. The conservative management of disorders affecting the foot and ankle is a departmental focus both clinically and in our research. We utilize innovative techniques in our Gait Lab to study foot structure, function, and rehabilitation. As well, our physicians specialize in the fabrication of custom orthoses and non-surgical treatment modalities for all foot and ankle conditions.
