Steven Pettineo, DPT, OCS, CSCS leads the team that gets podiatric patients back on their feet, restoring movement and mobility through physical therapy and rehabilitation. Dr. Pettineo is at the helm for treating patients whose lives become limited because of acute injuries, sport-related injury, illness or disability.
For each patient, Dr. Pettineo plans a goal-focused therapy regime that best serves the person’s level of disability, and takes into consideration issues such as personal and environmental factors.
The Department also offers full body orthopedic physical therapy for patients including those with ACL tears, rotator cuff injuries, post-operative knee procedures, and cervical and lumbar spine injuries and disorders.
Dr. Pettineo takes great pride in watching podiatry students experience their ah-ha moments in the classroom or clinic. That instant when all the teaching and textbook ideas come together and ignite a new level of clinical understanding and great patient care.
