Dr. Howard Palamarchuk, DPM

Howard Palamarchuk, DPM knows poor foot function, whatever the cause, throws off a person’s balance and safety by compromising how their ankles, knees, and hips function.  Dr. Palamarchuk specializes in sports medicine.  Included are preventing and treating stress fractures, blisters and fasciitis for runners training up to 100 miles a week.

Custom-made orthotics are often the answer. They can correct the biomechanical function of the foot for both everyday people and athletes, according to Dr. Palamarchuk.  He has prescribed many to great success.

Dr. Palamarchuk has spent the past 35 years bringing students out in the field to learn, working alongside medical personnel at the Philadelphia Broad Street Run and Marathon, the Boston Marathon, the New York Marathon and the Marine Corp Marathon among many other prestigious running events.

Dr. Palamarchuk race-walked his way into a career as a podiatrist.  He was once an Olympic contender in Race Walking where he saw first-hand the critical role a podiatrist plays in keeping top-tier athletes on their feet.
