Dr. Christopher Savage '82 PCPM


     Dr. Christopher Savage is a 1982 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine which became the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1998.  He received his B.A. in Biology from the University of Delaware and completed his residency at Lutheran Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. 

     An entrepreneur, immediately after receiving his doctorate, Dr. Savage founded Brandywine Podiatry which has grown to a group of five practices throughout the State of Delaware.

    Dr. Savage is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a Diplomat for the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also a member of the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management. 

     Dr. Savage is affiliated with Christiana Health Systems and St. Francis Hospital where he also serves on the Podiatric Credentials Committee for both facilities. 

     He has served in the past as Executive Director of the Delaware Podiatric Medical Association and a three term President of the Delaware Podiatric Medical Association.

      Dr. Savage is the Exhibit Chairman and serves on the planning committee for the Region Three APMA Scientific Meeting held annually in Atlantic City in May.  

       Dr. Savage dream was to become a physician and the School of Podiatry was instrumental in his pursuit of his life’s work. He believes that he has an obligation to give back. In addition to serving on the School’s Board of Visitors, in 2017 Dr. Savage generously established the Brandywine Podiatry Endowed Scholarship to provide scholarships to third and fourth students with financial need who has mentored a first or second year student.
