Frequently Asked Questions
How does the program work?
You will select the desired topic modules and contact hours from a list of topics. Upon registration, a username and password with instructions (including the website URL) will be sent to you via e-mail. You will have a 30-day period within which you will be able to access the selected modules. Once you have the username and password, you can log-on the website at your convenience and study the content, which will be amplified with digitized images, video clips, and/or other audiovisual materials. At the end of each module, you will find questions to test your knowledge of the materials covered.  Review the content as many times as you like. At any time, you may email the instructor with questions and suggestions. You will also be able to post comments and exchange ideas and questions with other participants.
How will I receive my certificate of attendance?
Our system tracks your access to all documents. After you have studied the material, you will complete an online examination and module evaluation. Once you complete the program, the TUSPM Office of Postgraduate Education will mail you a certificate for the contact hours you have completed.
Is there a time constraint to the program?
Yes. Once you have logged-on, you have a limited 30-day period within which you can access and complete the modules for which you have registered.
Are these contact hours accepted by all state licensing boards?
Our continuing education contact hours are approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) and in the states of Arizona, Delaware, Idaho and Minnesota Indiana, Michigan and Pennsylvania. The state of New Jersey licensing board does not require state approval of CME credits.
Are these contact hours the same as those I get by attending a live seminar?
Yes.

Information
The Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine offers an on-
line continuing education program for podiatric physicians through
the convenience of the web. If you find it difficult to attend CME programs because of geographical or time restraints, this
mode of education will be particularly attractive to you.
Our on-line courses have been approved by the APMA and the various state boards for CME credits. You may design your own program by choosing topic modules, up to 16 contact hours. View the list of available topics.
The average time to complete any module depends upon the number of credits assigned: expect to spend 2 hours for a 2 credit module, 1 hour for a one credit module.
After notifying us that you have completed the program and you have met the requirements (viewed the material and passed the online test), you will be sent a certificate (Microsoft Word document attachment) by e-mail and a hard copy via U.S. mail.
After reviewing the FAQs, if you have further questions or would like more information about program content, send an email (preferred) or call Dr. Robert Christman at 215-625-5378. For technical questions about internet connections or hardware requirements call 215-625-5230 or send an email.
