DEFINITION OF THE COURSE
Advanced dissection is an independent study course which gives students the opportunity to study selected anatomical regions in more detail.
The course may be taken by students in the second, third, or fourth year. It is an elective. It may be taken more than once, but only one time in a year.
Registration will be limited to 6 students per trimester, upon application.

Students ordinarily have no opportunity to dissect after completing Lower Extremity Anatomy, although other courses often raise new questions for them. This course provides the facilities and material which will enable interested students to seek answers to some of those questions.
