Podiatric Biomechanics

The Department of Podiatric Biomechanics consists of highly trained clinicians and scholars who specialize in biomechanics of the lower extremity. The conservative management of disorders effecting the foot and ankle are a departmental focus both clinically and in our research. We utilize innovative techniques in our Gait Lab to study foot structure, function and rehabilitation. As well, our physicians specialize in the fabrication of custom orthoses and non-surgical treatment modalities for all foot and ankle conditions. Our department includes Board Certified specialist in multiple areas including Podiatry, Pedorthics and Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Working in conjunction with the Departments of Medicine and Surgery we assist in patient care at the Foot and Ankle Institute as well as Academic and Clinical student training.
